I recently bought the Bushtec Extreme 30lt backpack for use when I go off road riding on my Quad. It is perfect for the longer outride as it has an integrated hydration pack and loads of space for a toolkit, Tyre repair, tow strap and a whole lot more. Yet it is still a compact and comfortable enough to wear for a long duration. What is also a nice feature is the reflective cover that folds out of the bottom of the bag and covers the bag in totality, this saves on a lot of cleaning when doing the muddy sections.

Thanks for the Great product.

Regards,

On behalf of the Anti-Poaching Unit at St Lucia, I want to both thank and congratulate you on your excellent range of products.

A number of years ago we purchased Jamboree tents, sleeping bags, mattresses, rucksacks, chairs and collapsible basins from you.

My Unit camp at least 10 nights per month, in all weather conditions and in any part of the game reserve. They never stay on level lawns, so the equipment is put to rough use on actual law enforcement operations. I have personally used your products over this period and can only say that I will not consider any other product(unless you come up with newer and better designs).

We have not had any breakages or failure of any sort, and that says a lot as we are quite rough on equipment, due to the conditions we work under.

Yours sincerely,

Johan Gerber, Conservation Manager, Anti poaching Unit, St Lucia

Hello Andre and the Bushtec team

Firstly thanks for coming through with the ‘goods’ - a TOP pack and great tents.

We had an excellent trip on Elbrus this month. Here’s  some feedback on how it all went.

The weather on Elbrus included a huge dump of snow every afternoon and much wind that rattled the fabric.

The usual ‘morning after condensation’ was non-existent in the tents as a result of adequate ventilation flaps which are very effective.

The valences had been intentionally covered over with snow the previous evening and even though they were iced in we managed to free them easily without any tears.

The guy-ropes held well and the groundsheets were totally waterproof despite a ‘river’ running under them when the ice and snow melted.

As a 4 seasons mountain  tent I would like to see YKK zips. One other aspect for improvement was that a pole sleeve tore. The other thing was that a few individuals commented on ‘Bushtec’ in the mountains being a bit odd. As a consideration maybe ‘Peaktec’ would be something to think about.

The 90 liter pack was brilliant. It is strong and comfortable. It has great side pockets and excellent additional strapping on the back and the top for tent and mattress

I loaded this pack with 25 kg of gear and felt confident it would not fail.
